M\u0103n\u0103stirea franciscan\u0103 din L\u0103zarea se afl\u0103 pe coasta dealului Sz\u00e1rm\u00e1ny, deasupra castelului L\u00e1z\u00e1r. Este unul dintre cele mai vechi ansambluri sacre din Depresiunea Giurgeului \u0219i un loc important al culturii franciscane transilv\u0103nene din secolul al XVII-lea.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pe acest loc exista \u00eenc\u0103 din secolul al XV-lea un grup de capele. \u00cen 1642, Istv\u00e1n L\u00e1z\u00e1r a chemat doi c\u0103lug\u0103ri franciscani la L\u0103zarea, iar \u00een 1665 Istv\u00e1n L\u00e1z\u00e1r cel T\u00e2n\u0103r a d\u0103ruit ordinului, prin act de dona\u021bie, capelele \u0219i p\u0103m\u00e2nturile aferente.<\/p>\n

Cel mai cunoscut locuitor al m\u0103n\u0103stirii a fost J\u00e1nos K\u00e1joni, savant franciscan transilv\u0103nean din secolul al XVII-lea, constructor de orgi \u0219i culeg\u0103tor de muzic\u0103, care, \u00een calitate de gardian, a construit aici o m\u0103n\u0103stire din lemn \u0219i a murit la L\u0103zarea \u00een 1687.<\/p>\n

\"Interiorul<\/p>\n

Ansamblul a fost \u00eencercat de multe ori de istorie: a fost afectat de incendii la \u00eenceputul secolului al XVIII-lea \u0219i \u00een secolul al XIX-lea, iar \u00een 1940 de un cutremur. \u00cen 1951, regimul comunist i-a \u00eendep\u0103rtat pe c\u0103lug\u0103ri, care au putut reveni abia \u00een 1978. Vitraliile bisericii baroce sunt opera lui J\u00f3zsef Palka.<\/p>\n

M\u0103n\u0103stirea a g\u0103zduit \u0219i arta contemporan\u0103: din 1974 aici a func\u021bionat tab\u0103ra de crea\u021bie de la L\u0103zarea, care mult\u0103 vreme i-a primit pe arti\u0219ti \u00eentre zidurile m\u0103n\u0103stirii.<\/p>\n
