Reformed Church – Dálnok
The Reformed Church of Dálnok is a significant ecclesiastical and architectural monument of Transylvania, serving the local Reformed community since the spread of the Reformation. Located in the village of Dálnok, it holds unique historical value, having played a defining role in the village's religious life for centuries.
The exact date of the church's construction is unknown, but its foundations go back to the Middle Ages. In the 16th century, as the Reformation spread, the local congregation embraced the Reformed faith and the building was adapted accordingly. Over the centuries it was extended and renovated several times, while efforts were made to preserve its original character.
With its simple yet imposing exterior, the church reflects the puritan outlook of the Reformed Church. Its walls are built of thick stone that has withstood the weather for centuries. The interior is clean and restrained in decoration, with the emphasis on the pulpit and the wooden ceiling. The bell tower beside the building has special significance, having called the faithful to prayer for centuries.

The Reformed church of Dálnok is still an active church centre, where services, baptisms and other congregational events are held regularly. Thanks to its historical and architectural value, it is also an interesting destination for visitors, offering an insight into the religious and cultural heritage of Transylvania and the traditions of the Reformed community.
